Standing Committees

There shall be Six (11) standing committees of the organization: Football, Cheerleading, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Track & Field, Wrestling, Soccer, Volleyball, Concession and fund-raising/public relations. 

Section 1. Football Committee. The Football Committee shall be composed of an appointed Commissioner by the current High School Coach and 4 other committee members chosen by the Commissioner elect with approval from Current High School Coach and BOD, as specified herein, and shall have the full authority to undertake the duties and powers of the BOD approved budget lead agenda except as these by-laws specifically state otherwise. All actions of the Football Committee shall be reported to the Chapman High School and BOD in a monthly email or report. (Disclosure: Chapman High School Current Head Coaches or Appointed Leadership will get first opportunity to appointment commissioners if this is not an option for the School the President will appoint the Committee Member on a per season bases until the Head Coach or leadership can do so.)

Section 2. Cheerleading Committee. The Cheerleading Committee shall be composed of an appointed Commissioner by the current High School Coach and 4 other committee members chosen by the Commissioner elect with approval from Current High School Coach and BOD, as specified herein, and shall have the full authority to undertake the duties and powers of the BOD approved budget lead agenda except as these by-laws specifically state otherwise. All actions of the Cheerleading Committee shall be reported to the Chapman High School and BOD in a monthly email or report. (Disclosure: Chapman High School Current Head Coaches or Appointed Leadership will get first opportunity to appointment commissioners if this is not an option for the School the President will appoint the Committee Member on a per season bases until the Head Coach or leadership can do so.)

Section 3. Baseball Committees. The Baseball Committee shall be composed of an appointed Commissioner by the current High School Coach and 4 other committee members chosen by the Commissioner elect with approval from Current High School Coach and BOD, as specified herein, and shall have the full authority to undertake the duties and powers of the BOD approved budget lead agenda except as these by-laws specifically state otherwise. All actions of the Baseball Committee shall be reported to the Chapman High School and BOD in a monthly email or report. Section 9. Volleyball Committee. The Volleyball Committee shall be composed of an appointed Commissioner by the current High School Coach and 4 other committee members chosen by the Commissioner elect with approval from Current High School Coach and BOD, as specified herein, and shall have the full authority to undertake the duties and powers of the BOD approved budget lead agenda except as these by-laws specifically state otherwise. All actions of the Volleyball Committee shall be reported to the Chapman High School and BOD in a monthly email or report.  (Disclosure: Chapman High School Current Head Coaches or Appointed Leadership will get first opportunity to appointment commissioners if this is not an option for the School the President will appoint the Committee Member on a per season bases until the Head Coach or leadership can do so.)

Section 10. Concession Committee. The Concession Committee shall be composed of a President appointed commissioner with approval of the BOD and 4 other members chosen by the BOD appointed commissioners elect, as specified herein, and shall have the full authority to undertake the duties and powers of the BOD approved budget lead agenda except as these by-laws specifically state otherwise. All actions of the Concession Committee shall be reported to the BOD at its monthly email or report. (Disclosure: All Concession Stands will be required to be structured per each sports High School policy and procedures.  All Concession Stands are there to provide funding for the entire program within our High School.  Each sport will have different Concession Stand structures that are determined by the Current Athletic Director and Head Coach (Sport Specific) at Chapman High School.

Section 11. Fund Raising/Public Relations Committee. The FR/PR Committee shall be composed of a President appointed commissioner with approval of the BOD and 4 other members chosen by the BOD appointed commissioners elect, as specified herein, and shall have the full authority to undertake the duties and powers of the BOD approved budget lead agenda except as these by-laws specifically state otherwise. All actions of the FR/PR Committee shall be reported to the BOD at its monthly email or report. (Disclosure: All Fund Raising/Public Relations will be required to be structured according each sports High School policy and procedures.  All Fund Raising/Public Relations opportunity is there to provide funding for the entire program within our district.  Each sport will have different Fund Raising/Public Relations structures that are determined by the Current Athletic Director and Head Coach (Sport Specific) at Chapman High School.)
